According to the preview update, the BGMI 1.8.5 update will include Jujutsu Kaisen characters in the Erangel map, locked treasure boxes in Erangel and Livik, and a new Santorini map, among other things. BGMI released an official video on Instagram detailing the changes that will be included in the upcoming update. Let's take a look at them quickly:
●The first thing shown in the video is the arrival of the Jujutsu Kaisen character in Erangel.
●The video focuses on the locked treasure chests in Erangel and Livik. These boxes' location and clues are said to be available in the Season tab. These boxes contain loot as well as items that can be used to earn rewards.
●The update will include Skull Grenades, which will appear in Erangel and Livik at random intervals. These grenades can be used to summon or defeat the boss and obtain more powerful items.
●The video depicts a new 8v8 Santorini Map based on the island of Santorini. The map can be found under the Unranked and Arena tabs.

Players on Android and iOS can go to their respective Play stores once the update is available. When installing the new update, make sure your device is connected to a stable WiFi network.
The exact timeline for the rollout has yet to be revealed by BGMI. According to reports, the update should be available by the end of this month.
